Long-term disabilty

Gulfstream provides Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefit coverage if you suffer a non-work related illness or injury disability that prevents you from working for more than 180 days.

Basic LTD coverage

Gulfstream automatically provides you with Basic LTD coverage that pays 50% of your base pay, up to a monthly maximum benefit of $20,000.

Optional LTD coverage

You can choose to purchase Optional LTD, which provides an additional 10% (for a total of 60%) of your pay, up to a monthly maximum benefit of $24,000. You can only choose this option as a new hire, during annual enrollment or during the 31-day election period of a qualified status change.
