Gulfstream provides paid family leave, so you can focus on your family.
Paid Family Leave (CP-6-85) offers two weeks of paid leave per year at 100% of base pay to U.S. employees to provide care for their covered family members with a serious health condition or for bonding with a new child. Paid family leave (PFL) may be continuous or intermittent.
For care of a covered family member, PFL may be taken in one day increments based on the employee’s normally scheduled work hours.
For bonding with a child, PFL must be requested within one year of the of birth or placement. Spouses who both work for Gulfstream may take PFL at the same time for child bonding and the maximum allowance will be available to both spouses. PFL for child bonding must be taken in weekly increments.
All U.S. full-time and part-time employees, including expats, are eligible. Co-ops, interns, and high school apprentices are not eligible.
An illness, injury, physical or mental condition that involves inpatient care in a hospital, hospice or residential health care facility, or continuing treatment by a health care provider.
To apply for PFL, employees must contact Sedgwick, the PFL administrator, at least 30 days before their leave begins or within seven days of their first absence. Intermittent time-off must be reported within 2 days of the absence. Failure to report leave timely may result in PFL payment delay or denial.
