Hospitalization assistance

The Hospital Indemnity Plan through MetLife provides a lump-sum payment if you or a covered dependent is hospitalized due to an accident or illness, including mental illness or substance use. The plan provides a lump-sum payment of $1,500 per year for a hospital admission, plus $150 per day for up to 14 days of confinement and an additional $150 per day for up to 14 days if admitted to the ICU. This can help cover out-of-pocket expenses.

You can enroll in or opt out of this plan only during annual enrollment.
