You may enroll in MetLife's veterinary pet insurance for your cats and dogs (all other animals are excluded from coverage) any time during the year. This coverage is payroll-deducted. 

The plan covers medical conditions for your cats and dogs due to accidental injuries, emergencies, exam fees, illnesses, diagnostic tests, hereditary conditions and more. You can visit any veterinarian you want (including specialists and pet emergency rooms). Claims for reimbursement can be submitted with a simple phone call to 800-GET-MET8 (800-438-6388) or via email, fax or mail.

*Not covered: pet food, grooming, congenital conditions, pre-existing conditions, behavioral problems, and elective procedures.

Rates are based on your pet’s age, breed, and zip code.

If you leave Gulfstream, you will no longer be eligible for the group discount, but you can take the coverage with you.
