If you were hired on or before December 31, 2006, and have not had a break in service, you may be eligible for pension benefits. Pension starts 90 days after request
Are you planning to retire in the near future? Keep in mind that the process of electing and commencing your pension may take time. You should allow 90 days from the time you begin the process until your last day of work and the date you wish to begin receiving your pension.
The General Dynamics Benefits Service Center will guide you through the process—getting an estimate, selecting payment options, planning for taxes, etc. Call them at 888-432-3633 to get started.
